Water scarcity is directly related to the climate change crisis, meaning that immediate action is required in order to ensure a future in which this resource will be available in the required quantity and quality. In this article, the use of a green wall system for the treatment of greywater is recommended as an environmental policy to combat this global phenomenon. The advantages of applying this treatment system lie in the obtaining of alternative water sources for use in the irrigating of parks, gardens or other green spaces, while also contributing to the sustainable management of water, the reduction of carbon emissions, and the mitigation of acoustic and atmospheric pollution.
