Medical Education & Clinical Practice publishes open-access articles under the Creative Commons 4.0 International license (CC BY 4.0). For more information, visit https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/.

Authors seeking to publish in RPMESP agree to the following terms:

  • Authors will retain copyright of their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. The published manuscript will be simultaneously subject to the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), which permits others to share the work provided that appropriate credit is given to the authors and the journal as the original source of publication.
  • Authors may enter into additional, non-exclusive distribution agreements for the published version of the manuscript (for example, by depositing it in an institutional digital repository or including it in a thematic volume), provided that the original publication in this journal is properly cited.
  • Authors are permitted and encouraged to disseminate their published manuscript online (for example, in institutional repositories or on their personal websites) after publication, as this can lead to productive exchanges and may increase the visibility and citation of the published work.

Any publication, dissemination or distribution of the information presented is authorized provided that the source is acknowledged.

The authors are entirely responsible for the contents of the article and these do not represent the opinion of the journal.

 

Preprints

Medical Education & Clinical Practice encourages the dissemination of early research through reputable preprint servers. Posting a manuscript as a preprint does not interfere with its eligibility for submission or consideration by the journal.

Authors and their affiliated institutions are asked to avoid actively promoting preprints through press releases or media coverage prior to peer review. If a preprint is shared publicly, whether through institutional channels, social media, or academic platforms, it should be made clear that the manuscript has not undergone peer review and that the findings are preliminary.
