Manuscript submission

Medical Education & Clinical Practice is a scientific journal operates under a continuous publication model and adheres to an open-access policy, with no article processing charges for authors. The journal welcomes original contributions, both national and international, in Spanish or English, with a focus on medical education, healthcare simulation, and research across diverse medical specialties that contribute to the advancement of clinical practice and public health.

The corresponding author is responsible for the registration and submission of the documents.

 

Submit an article

  1. If you are not registered, select the “Register” button in the upper right corner. Then you must fill out the form below.
  2. If you are already registered, select the “Login” button and log in with your username and password.
  3. Once you have logged in to your account, please follow the steps in oursubmission instructionsto submit your manuscript.

 

Mandatory requirements

Mandatory documents must follow, in detail, the description that can be found in our “Instructions for Authors” section. The following requirements must be submitted:

  • Sworn statementduly completed, and signed, by the corresponding author.
  • Manuscript in Word format.
  • Tables and figures after References.
  • Registration of all authors in the OJS system (online platform for article submission)
  • ORCID for all authors in the online platform (verify it works before submitting). If the system reports an ERROR, only include it on the first page of your manuscript
  • Approval by ethics committee (if necessary)
  • Supplementary Material (if necessary)

 

Important considerations

  • Submissions that do not include the mandatory documentation will not be accepted; if so, the corresponding author will be informed that the manuscript was not received.
  • Check the status of your submission through the OJS system by logging in with your username and password.
  • Each uploaded file should have a maximum size of 10 MB.
  • A unique identification code will be assigned to the manuscript during submission, which will be used throughout the editorial process.

If the research involves humans and/or animals, the code or document of approval from an institutional research ethics committee must be attached. This should be specified in the Ethical Aspects subsection of the Materials and Methods section of the manuscript.
